Argue or Agree: About Coach Austria, Bench and etc.

This is the article series where I just share my opinion and it is up to you if you agree or not. If you disagree, the comment box below is the place for you!

Coach Leo was terrible in their game against Mahindra

I was able to watch the whole Mahindra versus San Miguel game and I believed coach Leo made a huge mistake of not giving the ball to Fajardo away from the ring. Pushing for a lot of high low plays and placing The Kraken in the shaded area cause them a lot of turnovers! I mean it, it was a lot!

Those turnovers could have been avoided. And 10 feet away from the ring and playing against "eatable" defenders, the offense could have run much smoother and easier.

Bench is an underrated aspect of a franchise
I doubt, if there is a PBA player out there who dreamed to be a player who comes off the bench. Nevertheless, the bench is a very important area that should be filled if a team wants to be a contender. Globalport and Rain or Shine have benches who contributes a lot with 2.5 and 3.5 total score, respectively, in the TSA.

Of course a starting five like that of the Beermen doesn't need much support from the bench, but, only San Miguel had that powerhouse starting five.

Jayson Castro is cooking something big
The Blur decided to refreshed his body and he came off the bench in his first two games. In 27.5 minutes of play, he produced 21.5 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 36.4% 3FG. He has more spring to his game than usual and I believe that the more modern scheme of coach Nash will help him play better.

I am hopeful and excited about watching a better version of the Blur.
