Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will all be free-agents next summer, but the most anticipated one will be the free-agency of Stephen Curry.
Almost all the people in the NBA universe see him as a loyal player to the Warriors organization. Which is the main reason why almost no one can fathom him, leaving Golden State.
But, in an article of Scott Fowler for Charlotte Observer, a very interesting statement by Stephen was there and he said,
“Obviously I love it here in the Bay Area... It’s all I’ve known in the league. And if the situation is right going forward, this is a place I would love to play... obviously I had a strong tie to Charlotte and would have loved to play there. I’m very comfortable in that city. It’s hard to say exactly what the situation will be this summer.”If you don't know, Charlotte is the home town of Curry and reading between the lines, he still wants to someday play there.
And the "a" of this part of the conversation is very interesting, "this is a place I would love to play." The stronger word to use there is "the". By using "a", Stephen is implying that he will hear offers this offseason.
So, expect a very interesting offseason for Stephen Curry.
